Hannah Conover
Executive Director
Grant Ready Kentucky
Hannah Conover, CPA, is a lifelong Kentuckian with family roots in Appalachia and the founding Executive Director of Grant Ready Kentucky, a statewide nonprofit helping underserved communities plan, compete for, and manage public funding through technical assistance, match strategy, and public policy execution. After research and direct feedback from more than 1,000 nonprofit and local government leaders identified local match as a top barrier to federal funding, she helped build the policy case and stakeholder alignment for Kentucky’s landmark GRANT Match Program, scaling it to $200 million in state authorization and over $1 billion in GRANT-approved awards across 350+ projects statewide. Drawing on finance and operations leadership in philanthropy, venture-backed startups, and audit, she builds durable, tech-forward systems that strengthen efficiency, compliance, and decision quality. Hannah holds a summa cum laude BBA in Finance from Eastern Kentucky University and is AICPA certified in nonprofit financial management, governance, and compliance.
