Majora Carter

Majora Carter is a real estate developer, urban revitalization strategist, MacArthur Fellow, Peabody Award–winning broadcaster, and Princeton University lecturer. She has led major economic development, green infrastructure, and workforce initiatives, with a focus on reducing “brain drain” in low-status communities. Best known for her work in the South Bronx, Carter helps transform underserved areas into thriving, mixed-use economies that expand wealth-building opportunities.
