Gavin McGuire has deep roots in Atlanta. After moving to Atlanta from New Orleans’ 9th Ward, he graduated from Morehouse College and was the first member of his family to graduate college. He previous served as Executive Director of the Andrew and Walter Young Family YMCA in Southwest Atlanta, and as Chief Operating Officer of Usher’s New Look Foundation; he also held leadership roles at Future Foundation and Strategic Wealth. He has returned to Atlanta from Detroit, where, as COO of the regional Boys & Girls Clubs, he pioneered new initiatives and helped drive double-digit growth. Gavin recently completed the Harvard Business School Executive MBA program.
