Shoshana Ben-Yoar
President & Managing Partner
Alloy Fundraising
Twenty years ago, Shoshana started GrantScribes as a side hustle while working for an agency that created high visibility fundraising events. Shoshana’s grant writing success earned her the reputation of being a savvy, results-driven grants professional, and she began building a team of client managers to expand GrantScribes. The grant and event practices merged in 2023 to form Alloy Fundraising. Adding a Fundraising strategy practice in 2024, Alloy is now a full service fundraising consultancy that develops equitable thriving communities by partnering with non profits to fuel and fund their missions. Shoshana spends her days guiding the Alloy vision, mothering four young adults, and squeezing in CrossFit workouts whenever she can. Shoshana completed an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of West Georgia and a Bachelor’s degree in Photography and Middle Eastern Politics from Hampshire College.
